💌 back in Thailand, back to joy 🩵

reconnecting, routine, and the little things that make life feel full again

👋 Welcome back to Balanced Living: your weekly reminder to live slower, feel more balanced, and find joy in the everyday.

Hey yoou!!

I’m writing this from Chiang Mai: iced coffee in hand, window open, and a quiet breeze in the background. After months away, it feels good to be back.

Here’s what I’m gently rebuilding since returning:

  • morning journaling (just 3–5 lines a day)

  • post-lunch walks (helps me reset)

  • cooking dinners at home with music (or a podcast) playing

  • coffee dates with friends (solo ones too)

  • setting social boundaries before I need them

These small things give structure to my day without adding pressure. If you’ve been feeling a little out of rhythm lately, this is your sign to pick one tiny thing that used to make you feel good and bring it back.

But first, if anything here resonates, hit reply. I love hearing from you 💌

Now, on to the good stuff 👇️

🧠 things to read (or do) instead of doomscrolling

✨ Happiness from the inside out (a powerful reminder that joy starts within)

🌍 The blessing of a hybrid brain; the joy of writing in two languages (i loooved reading this one!)

🔊 For when your mind needs quiet more than chaos, try this as part of your wind-down routine.

☀️ Small changes that ripple out.

🎨 When was the last time you did something for the first time? Curiosity, variety, and learning just for the sake of it is what happened here!
