🌿 note to self
Sometimes, the most productive thing you can do is not to reach for your phone.
The other morning, my phone died overnight. So I woke up with no alarm and no option to instantly scroll. And on reflection, it felt so good. I got up, made a cuppa hot water, and started the day without checking anything.
Just me and a bit of quiet time outside on the balcony.
It reminded me how different mornings can feel when I don’t start with my head in my. phone. There’s no pressure to respond, no need to catch up. Just space to wake up.
And whilst I didn’t plan it, it’s since made me think twice before reaching for my phone the moment I wake up.
📝 something to do
Each morning this week, ask:
“What do I actually need today?”
It could be:
A boundary
A walk
A slower start
Less phone time
A moment alone
Listen closely to yourself.
